June Twitterature 2014
Welcome to Twitterature for June, which was a much busier month than May – at least so far as finishing books goes. As always linking up with the wonderful Moderns Mrs. Darcy.
Your Personal Paleo Code: The 3-Step Plan to Lose Weight, Reverse Disease, and Stay Fit and Healthy for Life by Chris Kresser (I read the UK edition Your Personal Paleo Diet: Feel and look great by eating the foods that are ideal for your body): Excellent introduction to a personalized paleo diet suited to your individual needs. #Recommended (full review)
Paleo Secret’s Sitting Solution by Chad Walding & Brenda Walding: Great overview of exercises that will help you deal with neck & shoulder pain – and my physiotherapist (specialized in neck injury) gave it his thumbs up. #Recommended
Skintervention Guide by Liz Wolfe: Marvellous guide to how to practically take care of and deal with your skin issues – from acne to eczema. Very detailed, with lots of very practical advice. #Recommended
Free Four: Tobias Tells the Divergent Knife-Throwing Scene (Divergent #1.5) + Four: The Transfer: A Divergent Story (Divergent #0.1) by Veronica Roth: Alright if you enjoyed the Divergent series.
Where There’s Smoke by Jodi Picoult: Original short story w. insight into one of the characters of Picoult’s upcoming novel. Not her best in my opinion, but currently free on Kindle.
Lean In for Graduates by Sheryl Sandberg: The extended version w. bonus chapters. While I might not agree w. everything, it is very enjoyable + thought-provoking. #Recommended
The Happiness Project: Or, Why I Spent a Year Trying to Sing in the Morning, Clean My Closets, Fight Right, Read Aristotle, and Generally Have More Fun by Gretchen Rubin: A #Reread for me. Still a great reminder of how much the little things + our attitude can matter. #Recommended
